Newfound Lake, NH Beach Sunset

I am very fortunate having readers of my journal from all over the world. (I would enjoy hearing from you). What fun reaching out to everyone, sharing my images of our beautiful state of New Hampshire.

Today's images were taken on Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH. I am going to return for more images.  Newfound Lake area is one of my favorite places in NH.

I need wake up early morning for sunrise images...not so easy :).

Betty, both are absolutely beautiful. I think the only way I'm going to get good sunrise photos is to have a hotel room on a lake and take photos from a balcony...NOT a morning person here. I'd love to get shots like these!

These pictures are great.  Makes me want to get out my camera and take more pictures myself...I stole the top one for a desktop picture so I can dream today about fishing at the lake. xoxBarb

Ah...empty benches.  Love those shots.  Also love what seems to be white birch...my very favorite tree.  Looking into planting one in fact!  Nice job...

Oh, Betty ... these pictures have just blown my mind !!  The "coloring" makes them look like oil paintings!  I just can't say enough about them ... and to think that this Saturday, I'll be on my way up "north" where I'll burn out my camera!
Sincerely, these pictures are exquisite.      -Mame-

These are some of my favorite images that you have created in some time.  The warm tones are great, and I love the scene that you have set before me.

Thank you.  Yes the trees are white birch, one of my favorite trees.  The next few weeks the tourist will be arriving and the solitude of the Lakes will change.
