Skid Abstract

As you all know, shooting has become a problem due to our snow. Pulling off the road is impossible because of the snow banks and no hiking the snow is up to my waist and higher.  Plus, I am frankly tired of taking pictures of snow.

Normally I would pass this skid business but stopped....thinking OK I might become creative taking picture of the skids. Desperation photography :).

Did I succeed?

Northfield's Old Wood Shed Morning and Late Afternoon Shots

Late afternoon shots

Early morning shot (note the dark blue skies, black and white conversion does not work). Also I have found I do not care for sepia conversion of snow pictures.

Conversion in Black and White of the early morning shots did not work.

Saturday, late afternoon on the way home I spotted an old wood shed we pass very often, I decided to take a pictures. As you can see the stored wood is keeping the building standing.

There was a problem due to the snow banks we could not pull off the road, so I had to take pictures from the car hoping no traffic would come along.

I posted my pictures and sending out to friend...his suggestion was to go back retake the images with the sun behind me.  I know the right way of taking pictures would be with the sun behind my back but as a whim, passing by the shed, I took the pictures late afternoon. I did go back the next early morning and his suggestion was correct. The pictures certainly look better with right light.

Abstract Taken While Waiting For A Connecting Flight In Detroit

I was going over old images and found one I never featured.  The above abstract was taken in Detroit Airport...we had a 5 hour layover.  Bored I took out my camera and started shooting.  I later found out this was illegal, so I might get arrested "winking."

Sunny Day Return To My Scenic Area

Yesterday the sun was finally out and no snow.  I went out shooting but quickly found taking images would be hard to take. We have very high snowbanks, not allowing me to pull the room to pull over to the side of the roads and/or the snowbanks are too high take pictures.  The snow is also too deep to walk or hike into an area.

I returned to last week's scenic area wanting to take pictures while the was sun out. Thankfully there is a plowed road allowing me take pictures. As you can see there is a beautiful difference.  My husband Bob suggested we go return taking  all the seasons plus I think I might see wildlife at the right time.

Scenic Find

Last weekend we found a  pretty scenic area we never spotted before on Rt 104, New Hampton, NH.  We had to turn around and go back. My photo outing was a bust but scenic series of images of the pretty area made up for the day!!!

I took different angles of the view as best as I could, there was a 4 feet snow pile on the side of the plowed dirt road.

Winter Wonderland

View from my office window in the lower level of our house. You can see the snow is covering the window.

Pictures taken from my front door...you can see I am running out of space to throw the snow. :)

I wanted to show everyone our Winter Wonderland.  My pictures were taken early this morning.

"Footprints In The Sand, Steps To Their Future"

This week's challenge is Love

My friends asked me to photograph their wedding, very new to me, I take scenery. I was lucky, their wedding  pictures turned nice and they were pleased phew.

Their wedding ceremony on the beach was cancel do pouring rain, was held inside instead.  When we saw it was the weather was clearing, we decided to take beach pictures at dusk after the reception. The picture was take at York Beach, Maine.

Back In Business, I HOPE

Old roadside stand taken at dusk

Our golf course also taken at dusk...in the back ground on the right you can see Kearsage Mountain range

My computer is back in business.  No virus, I loaded a program causing the problem.

I still have not been out shooting but manage to take a few images.
