Rain Drops Keep Falling In April

Rain Drops Keep Falling......Singing as I type

My moose is even sad and water logged.

Lichen (thanks Vicki for the name) is growing on trees

My white birch has sad eyes on the bark because of the rain

So what I do, go outside and take a few photos......my humor kicked in when taking the pictures!!!

February Winter Storm.....Snowbound

Today we are expecting 6 to12 inches of snow, again snowbound.  I took a photo looking outside through a window of my yard.  You can see an almost snow covered rustic bench and birdhouse.

January 12, 2011 Snow Storm: Taken from the Inside Of The House

I  Used Nik's Solarization Application

We received I would guess about 14 inches of snow finally. I am crazy, I know we just came inside after snow blowing and shovel, the snow is beautiful.

I took a couple of images from inside the house and did a little playing. The photo were take from the lower level of the house ground level looking up.

I used a Nik Solarization application on my one image.

First Day Of Summer Photo Of My Yard

Dodging my sprinklers, I ran behind the bench and looked up spotting this view. I ran inside to retrieve my camera so I could capture this shot...I might add staying dry in the process.

Spring Budding Of Trees and Bush

Chinese Red Maple

Crabapple Buds and Left over apples from last season.
Pink Pussy Willow

Spring cleaning of our yard is completed, mulched and waiting to see what plants made it through our winter this year.
I took a walk in our yard with my camera looking for photo opportunities. I found a budding Japanese Red Maple, Crap Apple and pink pussy willow.

2010 February Winter Storm

The east coast had another winter storm. In our area we received only 6 inches of snow turning to sleet, other areas either received rain or a foot snow. I managed to capture a shot before the sleet turned the snow into an ugly mess.
