I had never heard of a bog was until we move to New Hampshire 17 years ago. I am sharing my scenic images but there is a lot more information learning about the blogs.
"Bogs receive very little surface water flow and are among the most acidic peatlands. They are dominated by shrubs such as leatherleaf and bog laurel."
You will locate at the bog wetlands, wildlife habitats, ancient plants species, birds, mammals and insects. For more detail information check out Peatland Habitats
