Finally A Decent Ringneck Duck Shot

I was out and about yesterday, Bob noticed ducks on Lake Waukewan in Center Harbor.  I had my Canon 100-400 and 1.4 extender and find out my set up was really not going to capture the ducks.

The sun was starting to come out after night of heavy rain, I decided to give it a try one more try.  Three were still on the lake but again too far to photograph.  We turned around and found a pair on the other side of the road  I was finding again too far for a decent shot.  Starting to head home we looked one more time towards the lake and saw that the three original ducks were coming towards the shore line to rest after eating.  My opt!!!!

Sunset on Lake Waukewan

One of my favorite spots for sunset is Lake Waukewan, Meredith, NH. After a delicious dinner at Camp, located in the Chase House at Mill Falls, I notice we might make sunset at Lake Waukewan. As luck would have it, I found clouds, boaters and swimmers onthe lake adding interest tomyimages. A perfect setting and end to a nice day.

Swimmers not wanting to end the day.

A photo mistake I liked and kept.

Even the boaters took in the sunset.

Perfect Sunset
