Our Visit to New Hampshire Audubon's McLane Center, Concord, NH

Majestic Bald Eagle

Red Tail Hawk

Barred Owl

A few weeks ago Bob an I visited New Hampshire Audubon's McLane Center formerly know as the Silk Farm Center during our weekend travels. One of our favorite places to visit, offer several miles of hiking trails, and birding opportunities. The center offers year round environmental programs for adults, families and children.
Bob and I had the pleasure meeting Marlene Friedrich, staff Naturalist. Marlene was very kind to give us a personal tour, sharing her knowledge about the rescued birds, turtles. She brought us inside the cages, allowing me to take great images of the rescued birds. What wonderful experience. allowing us to view the birds up close.

Day at White Park, Concord, NH

Old Red Oak

Often when in Concord I will ride pass White Park but never seem to have the time to stop. Last week after completing errands, I decided to take advantage ofmy extra time and stop taking in the beautiful weather at the park.
I was not alone, I found children with their parents playing and running, feeding the ducks. Workers taking a lunch break, taking in the beautiful day. Bikers, sunbathers, people walking and running also enjoying the park.
What a beautiful day. I suggest taking the time to stop and enjoy a beautiful day, rejuvenating yourself.

Fisheye Photos: Concord, NH State House

I bought my Fisheye Lens (/ef 15mm f.2,8), adding a new dimension, creativity to my photography. Not everyone likes the distraught look when using the Fisheye Lens, I happen to like the look.

Fisheye Lens are useful for wide landscapes, wide day or night sky shots and interior pictures of houses, vehicles, architecture and other confined spaces. The lens offers very sharp images. I am learning what works best with this lens, I am having fun!!!
