Mount Washington Climb and Tour. One of the Highlights Of My Life

div>
One of highlights of this past weekend and probably in my life was climbing (in a car) Mount Washington, NH. Donna knew one of the meteorologists working in the observatory, Jim Salge. He is finishing up 5 years of working, recording weather conditions on the mountain in all kinds of weather. Jim took us into the observatory, to the very top also showing us their living quarters.
What a thrill!!!
Thank you Pete for helping me with the slide show. Check out Pete's Place

Betty, Beautiful views! Think we can take that train up when we're there for fall color? Looks like a great way to get to the top! Oh...and love the music too!

I think that is so cool.  Just think in one month you have been here and have seen not one, but three moose.  You have had a bunch of wonderful events happen all right togther.  I'm so happy for you.

Hi Betty!  I couldn't get the slideshow to play - I have a very sick computer!!
But, I have been to Mt. W. twice, so I know what it's all about -- even though I froze even on a June day!!  Have also seen a lot about it on various TV programs.
All quite breathtaking, and so glad you had the opportunity to get there!  Maybe one day I can see your pictures in the regular way.        -Mame-
