I found an old shed on Rt. 113a in Tamworth, NH. A previous road trip, I had to passed up the shed, do to lighting, time of day was all wrong. I was glad this road trip conditions allowed to take the images.

Betty, good thing you take note of interesting places to photograph. AND go back to them. Beautiful shots. Well composed and the color is beautiful.

Very nice...love the closer one.

Is the door painted or just weathered to that lovely color? I find the buildings in New England so interesting. Have always wonder why they don't have many front porches.
Like the distant shot best. The door is interesting, but the mix of light and shadow on the building really makes it.
Very nice shed. I love the added element of the snow on the ground. That really sets the mood for the shot. There is something to be said for keeping subjects in mind like this for return trips when conditions are better.

I really like these photos ... they made me think of a time when I was young and while it has nothing to do with the barn structure, it brought to mind FUN. My sister's friend had a player piano at her house and we'd go to parties at their house and one of the favorite songs was Green Door ... which indicated the people inside weren't friendly, but such was not the case!! Anyway, thanks for the beautiful shots and the fun memory.
Looking forward to warmer and cozier weather but the snow LOOKS pretty.
You did get perfect lighting conditions and the snow element adds to the leafless trees. Very nice shadows. mark
