The last two weeks I have been busy with family commitments and company last week.
A friend I met in a photo chat flew up for a short visit before continuing her vacation and visit with me and her family who also live in NH.
I will be sharing my productive photo shoot with Donna...we had a great time.

I was looking for a picture for a photo challenge and located an old photo I had taken with my first digital. I straighten, cropped, sharpened and add aged newspaper technique. My picture The Cliff House in San Francisco.

Last week on beautiful fall day we took a hike on a local trail Winnipesaukee River Trail. We took in the beauty of the fall colors, the sounds of the birds and river rushing.

My first photo program I bought was Paint Shop Pro, because if was affordable. I purchased the upgrade 11 and played with it yesterday.
The of new features I love, outstanding photo organization. Also something I have been looking for, each picture you can add photo information. Many of my photos, I research information about the location, etc...finally a program that includes this feature.

The last few days, looking outdoors I notice a spectacular light from the sun filtering on statue and my bench. I took a break from work had to go outside testing a few images, playing with light. I like the effect :).
Last weekend I found a picturesque road not too far from my home. I will be returning the different seasons to take pictures.

Tom Collins Photography I met professional photographer Tom in a photo chat. I wanted to share his beautiful photography of Tennessee, birds, butterflies, florals, waterfalls and landscapes.
Yesterday for a very short time it stopped raining, I headed out to take a few images.
Working in my yard, I located mushrooms growing. Do you think I could serve for dinner?
I was unhappy with my sepia and B&W versions of the my old shed photos. You all know my friend, Charlie Flatland Photos also my photography mentor for about three years, he was asked by another friend for help about levels. Charlie wrote a helpful tutorial using Photo Shop and cc me :).
I followed his suggestions and this is what I came up with. I like the way they turned out :).
The last leg of our Saturday's photo car trip we ended up in Danbury. Inn at Danbury, is one our favorite places to eat Welcome to the Inn at Danbury! was having their Octoberfest. Beautiful weather, great food and music were a great ending to my photos shoot trip.

Our Fall Foliage peek won't be until the second week of October. New Hampshire Foliage Report. I went out on photo shoot, not expecting seeing fall colors but came across a colorful patch in a bog.

Today I went out not sure what I would end up doing. We went apple picking and spotted the most adorable baby boy picking out his pumpkin. Surowiec Farm. He saw me with the camera, his mom told me he thought I was going to take his photo.... With her permission, I took his photo and will email a copy to her...in addition she is allowing me post his picture. Thank you mom :).
Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love the colors, the chill in the year, the smells of the roaring fireplaces.

Saturday was opening day for football season. Greg our friend, head football coach was chanting to the team before the game started. His chant worked they won 55-00.
A few weeks ago we traveled on Rt. 145, northern NH. Riding the highway, as we approached the top of mountain I spotted a beautiful valley. I felt it was worth stopping and taking a few images.
I woke up and saw a photo opportunity. Grabbing my camera, still in my pj's, took a few images...what I won't do for a photo!!! I am sharing the one best one of the group :).
My husband and I were having breakfast at the Balsams resort when I looked out of the window and took this image. I just love this picture and have no clue why :).
Last's weekend trip, our goal was to find a moose, allowing me to take a pictures. I compiled all sort of information about finding moose. As luck would have it, the Balsams was in the right location for our search. Route 3 also knows as Moose Alley.
Our information mentions the best time to take the route is best either in early dawn or at dusk. Traveling 20 miles an hour (not a well traveled road), we drove all the way to the Canadian Border and back. Yes you guess it, NOT one moose!!!! The ride was very nice but so disappointing......sigh. I am NOT giving up!!!

A couple of weeks ago a friend I met online was visiting her Mother who lives in NH. We made plans to go shooting, hopefully finding wildlife. Donna was very successful when I was NOT with her :). She saw and captured photos moose, deer and bear... sigh!!!!
